阿爾瑪獨自居住在一棟寬敞的聯(lián)排別墅里，米娜則是一位來自另外一座城市廉租房的單親媽媽。這兩位女性的生活都圍繞著探監(jiān)而展開。她們的伴侶分別因不同原因被關(guān)押在同一所監(jiān)獄。一次在探監(jiān)室外的休息區(qū)，阿爾瑪和米娜偶然相遇，一段意想不到的友誼就此開始……
