一對(duì)即將分離的情侶彼此取暖；一位老婦人沉浸在過(guò)往愛(ài)情歲月；一對(duì)玩伴暢想移民美國(guó)，成為職業(yè)棒球球員。在古巴內(nèi)陸城市圣安東尼奧德洛斯巴尼奧斯，時(shí)間似乎停滯不前，三組人物構(gòu)成的情感世界在這里流動(dòng)、展開(kāi)。意大利導(dǎo)演托馬索·桑坦博吉奧在這部影片中傾訴自己對(duì)古巴社會(huì)中的愛(ài)情和離別的思考。影片中三組人物不僅是導(dǎo)演對(duì)過(guò)去（老婦人）、現(xiàn)在（戀人）、將來(lái)（玩伴）的真誠(chéng)思考，同時(shí)也是他對(duì)古巴社會(huì)圖景的再現(xiàn)。導(dǎo)演用海浪的聲音凸顯陸地與海洋的關(guān)系，并使用黑白影像來(lái)顛覆人們對(duì)五彩斑斕的古巴的認(rèn)知。影片入圍第80屆威尼斯電影節(jié)“威尼斯日”平行單元。

2024 劇情簡(jiǎn)介： Tú me abrasas is an adaptation of “Sea Foam”, a chapter from Cesare Pavese’s “Dialoghi con Leucò” published in 1947. The ancient Greek poet Sappho and the nymph Britomartis meet beside the sea and have a conversation about love and death. Sappho is said to have thrown herself into the ocean from lovesickness. Britomartis apparently tumbled off a cliff and into the water while fleeing from a man. Together, the two discuss the stories and images that have emerged around them to try and understand, at least for a moment, the bittersweet nature of desire. The film adapts not only the text but also footnotes and gaps in the story. For example, the fact that, in 1950, a desperate Pavese committed suicide in a hotel room with this book by his side. Or that Sappho’s poems have survived only in fragments. Or that sea foam is historically and scientifically associated with fertility and bacteria, that is, with life itself. “Everything dies in the sea and comes back to life,” says Britomartis. Tú me abrasas introduces new readings and translations that go beyond the myths by Pavese and Sappho.
